How to build an MLM team intelligently
It’s nowhere as complicated as most people think — but, then, most people are convinced that, unless something can be complicated to the point where it can no longer be understood or made to work, it isn’t real.
Or they sell the concept to prospects based on simple, fundamental, common sense principles — then, the moment they sign up, they throw those simple fundamentals out the window and immediately start chanting the “bigger is better” mantra.
For example, a lot of MLMers explain the power of duplication using the story of the wise man, the king, a chessboard and the number of grains of rice doubling every day for each square — and the king looking foolish because there wasn’t enough rice in the kingdom to reward the wise man, long before the final square. (Let’s hope the wise man was smart enough to negotiate a royalty deal on every chess set sold!)
Then, before the ink on the agreement is dry, they’re urging their new recruit to buy a chessboard-full of leads every month because “you need LOTS of leads in your pipeline to work with”.
Huh? Run that by me again?
Unless I missed something in amongst those logical and ethical flip-flops and somersaults, I’d have thought the idea was to duplicate yourself… one person (you) becomes two. Then the two of you become four and so on.
Otherwise the examples in your sponsoring pitch are just spin, smoke and mirrors… and YOU have yourself a serious moral dilemma that will eventually come back to haunt you.
So what IS the best way to build a genuinely high-leverage, duplicable network?
Most really smart innovations and processes draw their inspiration or operation from something already in existence.
Nature.
