Network Marketing 101: Getting Started with the Bare Basics

Network marketing is a very simple concept. There are four basic steps you need to take to get started. Once you’ve completed them, just keep on doing them, over and over and over. NEVER quit.

The Bottom Line:

Nobody cares about your products.
Nobody cares about your company or opportunity.
They don’t even care about the benefits they deliver.

They care about how it makes them FEEL!

It’s all about the emotional payoffTHAT’s what propels them out the door, onto the phone, or onto the Internet so they can tell other people how they feel, and why!

Remember… FACTS tell. (Useful, but boring.)

Stories SELL.

Step 1: The Products

USE the products. Experience the product benefits. If they meet the Three Criteria of Fulfilment (they’re safe, they work and they give great value for money), you’ll feel excited. You won’t be able to stop yourself from sharing how you feel… you’ll just have tell others how you feel — and why!

Step 2: Reciprocal Income

Some of those people you tell your story to will want to feel the same as you do. They’ll buy some products from you.

You’ll earn some reciprocal income in the form of retail commissions. (Reciprocal income is what you earn from trading one thing of agreed value — your product — for something else of agreed value — their money.) Even better, you now have some loyal, repeat, profitable customers.

Hey… the first part of the compensation plan — reciprocal income — works! That’s exciting! You won’t be able to stop yourself from sharing how you feel… you’ll just have tell others how you feel — and why!

Step 3: Residual Income

Some of those people you tell your story to will want to feel the same as you do. They’ll join your downline team and start doing what you did, with your enthusiastic training and support.

You’ll earn some residual income in the form of bonuses from the company’s share of the wholesale sales made by you and your downline people. (Residual income is what you earn from doing something onceduplicating yourself — and getting paid for it, over and over again as you and your downline repeat steps 1, 2 and 3.)

Hey… the second part of the compensation plan — residual income — works, too! That’s exciting! You won’t be able to stop yourself from sharing how you feel… you’ll just have tell others how you feel — and why!

Step 4: Repeat Steps 1, 2 and 3

Can you see the simplicity and ingenuity of the system? If you make it any more complicated than this, you fall for the oldest booby trap in the human playbook: “Unless you can complicate something to the point where it can’t be understood or made to work, it’s not REAL.”

Stick to the K.I.S.S principle — “Keep it SIMPLE and SAFE!”

WARNING: Avoid falling into “MANAGEMENT MODE” when your team and income begin to grow. Stick to your knitting. Stay at the coal face. I’ll explain why — and why it’s so high-risk — in Network Marketing 102.
